Eastwood Volunteer Bureau, (EVB), is a local charity, who recruit volunteers for our Transport, Befriending and Furniture Schemes.

EVB provides:

• Volunteer drivers use their own cars to take people who cannot use public transport to the shops, doctors, lunch clubs etc.
• Other volunteers visit older people who are on their own or read to people with a visual impairment.
• Unwanted furniture is collected and delivered to local people.
• A quarterly newssheet is produced and distributed free of charge to local organisations and EVB's volunteers.
• The Broxtowe Help Directory, containing information on 400+ organisations providing advice, information and help to residents of Broxtowe.  To access the Directory follow the link - www.broxtowehelpdirectory.org.uk If you are already included in the Directory please notify the EVB of any changes you require us to make.
  
• Training courses can be arranged for volunteers, management committee and local groups.
